01. Purpose and permitted users

Towit Data Lake Connector is an internal tool for Towit Repairs LLC. Use is limited to personnel expressly authorized to administer the company's accounting integration. Viewing these information pages does not authorize access to the connector or to QuickBooks data. The tool is not offered as a public accounting service or a marketplace application.

02. Limited internal-use permission

Subject to company authorization and these terms, authorized personnel may use the connector for legitimate internal business purposes. This permission is personal to the authorized role, revocable and limited to the approved company connection. It does not permit resale, sublicensing, public distribution or access to another company's data without separate authorization. Towit and the relevant third-party rights holders retain their respective ownership rights.

03. QuickBooks authorization and scope

Only a person with appropriate authority may authorize the QuickBooks company connection. Authentication and company consent take place through Intuit. Intuit's Accounting API permission can authorize broader operations than this connector implements. The current connector exposes company-information and chart-of-accounts reads, token refresh and disconnection. It does not implement accounting-record creation, modification or deletion. A broader feature must not be enabled merely because an OAuth scope permits it.

04. User responsibilities

Use only your authorized access, keep authentication credentials confidential and promptly report suspected compromise. Do not share passwords or verification codes, bypass access controls, attempt to connect an unauthorized company, extract data for unrelated purposes or interfere with the service. Follow applicable law, Towit's information-security procedures and the applicable Intuit terms. Access must be withdrawn when a person's authorization ends.

05. Data and confidentiality

The connected company retains its rights in its accounting information, subject to applicable third-party rights. Information accessed through the connector must be treated as confidential business information and used only for approved internal purposes. Handling of connection information and data is described in the Privacy Policy. Public information pages do not grant anyone a right to view or obtain company records.

06. Verification and service limitations

The current verification action returns connection status and an account count. It is not a complete accounting report, reconciliation, tax calculation, backup of QuickBooks or substitute for reviewing the original records. Data availability and accuracy depend in part on QuickBooks and the company's records. Authorized personnel must validate results before relying on them for financial, tax or operational decisions. The connector may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages or security restrictions. No uptime commitment or professional accounting advice is provided by these terms.

07. Suspension and disconnection

Towit may suspend access for security, maintenance, loss of authorization or misuse. Authorized administrators may request disconnection or use the available disconnect controls. A successful disconnection revokes the connection token and clears local token state; a failed revocation requires follow-up. Disconnection does not erase original QuickBooks records or automatically remove retained diagnostics, configuration or backups. Stopping access does not end applicable confidentiality or record-retention obligations.

08. Third parties, changes and contact

QuickBooks and Intuit services are governed by their own terms and privacy statements. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of their respective owners. This internal integration is not presented as an Intuit product or an endorsement by Intuit. Material changes to the integration or these terms must be communicated to authorized users before the changed use begins.
